Anypoint on Azure: what changes (and what doesn’t)

Abstract integration diagram

Running your Anypoint runtime fabric on Azure rather than CloudHub changes the deployment story in some real ways and leaves a surprising amount unchanged.

What changes

You own more of the platform: networking, scaling and patching of the fabric become your responsibility, which is exactly the point for teams with strict data residency or an existing Azure investment.

What does not

The applications themselves barely care. The same Mule apps, connectors and DataWeave run as before. The shift is operational, not a rewrite, which is what makes it approachable.
